Our doors have been open since July 1985. However, the journey actually began in 1957 when founder Richard D. Filip (d. 1999) started his journey as a delivery/warehouse employee and gravitated to salesman with Moellering Supply in Kokomo Indiana. After several years of buy-outs and consolidations, he decided to open up his own business at the age of 55. At that point, RD Filip Inc. became a major distributor in the Sanitary Maintenance Supply Industry. On September 15, 1999, Richard passed and new ownership began. Richard believed in taking care of the customer as they are our only life support. To this day, we recognize how true that belief really is.
